Director Bio
Kyle Henry's feature film debut ROOM premiered at both the Sundance and Cannes’ Directors' Fortnight film festivals in 2005. Sections from FOURPLAY have screened at Sundance and Directors' Fortnight. His feature docs include UNIVERSITY INC., about the corporatization of higher education, and AMERICAN COWBOY, about a gay rodeo cowboy. He’s also the editor of the Sundance award-winning feature narrative MANITO and eight feature documentaries.

Synopsis

FOURPLAY is an anthology of four tales of sexual triumph and travail. In Skokie, a closeted woman’s infatuation with her minister’s wife is sublimated during a weekend of dog sitting; in Austin, a young couple struggle with opposing desires regarding conception and arrive at a startling compromise; in Tampa, a queer man plagued with self-doubt finds a surreal nirvana in a public mall restroom; and in San Francisco, a cross-dressing prostitute faces a challenging assignment with a quadriplegic man, arranged by the man’s wife.
