USA 56 min.
In 1960 Bohemian couple “Gypsy Lou” and Jon Webb started Loujon Press from a small French Quarter apartment. By day Gypsy Lou sold paintings on the street to support Jon’s literary ambitions, and by night she hand set the type for their magazine The Outsider —an avant-garde literary phenomena which introduced Charles Bukowski to the world. Gypsy Lou still lives to tell in this documentary of their love story, their struggle, and the unique culture of the French Quarter which once existed to spawn The Outsider.
