Ady, a 13-year-old living in Southern France, is the ultimate teenage rebel. Overwhelmed by his out-of-control son, Ady’s father decides to send him across the Mediterranean to Burkina Faso to live with his uncle Amadou for the summer. An atmospheric and lyrical narrative shot in a documentary style, Wallay presents a twist on the classic coming-of-age story and explores narratives not often seen on the big screen.
