Overview

The New Orleans French Film Festival is one of the longest-running international language festivals in the U.S., celebrating contemporary and classic Francophone cinema.

For its 29th edition (March 19–24, 2026), the festival returns to Prytania Theatre Uptown and venues across the city, continuing to expand its vision of French cinema through a dynamic lineup of emerging talents and acclaimed auteurs from across the Francophone world.

From March 19–22, audiences can enjoy an outstanding selection of contemporary and classic films at Prytania Uptown, complemented by bonus events throughout the festival’s seven days at new locations across the city. Parties, panels, and student programming round out the experience, with more details to be announced. All films will be presented in French with English subtitles.
