Hunter, a newly pregnant housewife, seems to have it all. She’s married to a handsome man who’s about to take control of a thriving family business. She has a large and gorgeous home, and very few demands on her time or her mind. In this state of anxious luxury, she becomes fixated, and then appetized, by the tiny objects around her, first a relatively innocuous marble, but then moving on to decidedly more jagged snacks. As her husband and his family tighten their control over her life, Hunter must confront the dark secret behind her new swallowing obsession.
